Lunker Lovers Fundraising Procedures 2012

Approved 1/3/2012

1.      Conduct a yard sale in March.

2.      Conduct a cash raffle (or gift card) in April.

3.      Conduct a yard sale in November.

4.      Conduct a cash raffle (or gift card) in November.

5.      Use a computerized draw instead of raffle tickets for the meeting raffles and for the banquet.  Tickets would be used for the cash raffles.

6.      Award 1 banquet prize ticket for each $25 spent on the meeting raffles for those who do not participate in any of the fundraising activities 1-4.  If a member participates in one of the activities, he would receive 1 banquet prize ticket for each $20 spent on the meeting raffles.  This would then become 1 ticket for each $15, 1 ticket for each $10 and 1 ticket for each $5 spent on the meeting raffles for members who participate in 2, 3, or all 4 (respectively) of the other fundraising activities.

7.      A member will be considered to have participated in a yard sale if he works at the yard sale for at least 4 hours, contributes items to the yard sale that can be reasonably expected to sell for at least $20, or donates $10 to the yard sale fund.  The $10 contribution must be made within two club meetings after the yard sale.

8.      A member will be considered to have participated in a cash raffle if he sells at least $25 in tickets.  The member who sells the most tickets for a cash raffle will be awarded a free entry into a one-day tournament.

9.      In addition to the banquet prize tickets indicated in 6 above, each member who spends at least $100 on the meeting raffles would be given 1 "premium" ticket for a prize drawing at the banquet.  This drawing will be conducted first at the banquet and will continue until all premium tickets have been drawn.

10.  Each member attending the banquet, who has been awarded banquet prize tickets, will be given 1 "attendee" ticket for a prize drawing at the banquet.  The attendee drawing will be conducted after the premium drawing and will continue until all attendee tickets have been drawn.  A drawing of the banquet prize tickets, as defined in 6, above, will then be conducted until all prizes have been awarded.

11.  A member who cannot attend the annual banquet may designate a surrogate to select any prizes the member wins at the banquet.
